TwinsJazz ,located on historic U Street in DC, hosted a memorial celebration, August 21, honoring the legendary and hometown favorite jazz bassist, Keter Betts. The photos represent some who shared special moments with this icon of jazz. The event was hosted by Jamal Mohammad programmer at WPFW and supported by many friends, fellow musicians and family.
Keter touched many with his love in many ways....the music has been played

On August 19th and 20th TwinsJazz located on historic U Street in Washington, DC launched its first "Sax Summit" featuring saxophonists Fred Foss, Marty Nau and Marshall Keys. The rhythm section featured Bob Butta, Piano, Dominic Smith, drums and Tommy Cecil, bass.
It was an performance that energized the entire room
